I was told that people who further their studies in the UK tends to become more arrogant and snobbish when they go back to their home countries particularly Malaysians
(as I heard it from a Malaysian). Is this true? I mean I don't think I had gotten proud or something just because I studied in the UK. That's just so naive! I just don't get why people who like make such a suggestion. I had a feeling that I had gotten more polite
(not that I wasn't before I came over) but mostly due to the politeness of MOST british here. Most British are polite not all because some people here are really arseholes n shit-face. I tend to find more rude people on the tube than on the bus for some apparent reason. Like last week, I took the tube to King's Cross Station. I saw a lady with lots of stuff coming in so I got off my seat and let her sit on my seat. She didn't even look at me or thank me. I mean a smile would be nice but she just sat on the seat as though she expects someone to get off their seats for her. This is not the first time I experience this but probably tens of times. That's one of the reason why I dislike taking the tube. Yes, its faster. But apart from that, I don't think the tube is better than the bus in any way. Yes, its slower but hell its a lot more convenient for me as I am sick of walking down the steps, going through the ticket checks and getting stuffed in the tube like a can of sardines. For the bus its cheaper and you get to see wonderful sceneries and stuff.
Anyways, (I seem to be digresssing here) I think that it's unfair to say that every person who studies in the UK or any particular country, are ignorant proud bastards. Yes there as certain people who are snobbish n shit but not everyone is lik dat. Anyways, I wanna watch The Hills Have Eyes as it looks like really good horror film. No ghosts though but lots of mutants...
The lucky ones die first.. hehehe... Btw, have anyone watched scare tactics before? Its a kinda old reality show where they scare the shit out of innocent people. watched it when I was in Scotland and I laughed my ass off.
